No Arizona prospect had a better spring performance, combined with a stellar performance in the Section 7 event last weekend, other than Millennium High School's talented and athletic 6-foot-7 rising versatile senior forward Kingston Tosi. After a strong spring performance for himself, where he received numerous offers for himself, as a result of his strong play on the club circuit, Tosi was on full display in this year's Section 7 event, as he put college coaches on notice with his play. As a result, Tosi has become hotter than fish grease - receiving a large number of scholarship offers for himself and making him one of the hottest prospects now in the country.
Kingston Tosi has been an exemplary prospect for the Millennium program since he entered the high school ranks (3) years ago, and now we are seeing him blossom as he enters his final senior season - something I had expected for some time. Tosi has gone to another level in his play, and has helped to make his Millennium program one of the Top 20 high school programs in the country by Max Preps. Millennium did not disappoint in the Section 7 event, as the program would finish 4-0 in the event and earn big wins over Mater Dei (CA), St. Joseph (CA), Bishop Gorman (NV) and Archbishop Riordan (CA) in the event.
With such a strong performance as a team and a dominant and very productive performance individually by Tosi, it has been a wild week for Tosi, since the end to the event, as he has received numerous offers for himself.
As a result of his play in the event, Tosi has now received offers from SMU, Dayton, Washington State, Utah State, Fresno State, New Mexico, UTEP, Cal Baptist, Samford, UT-Arlington and Montana - all this week. Tosi has become a major recruiting target for many programs last weekend, making his college decision now much more complex. Tosi already held offers from Washington, Arizona State, Pepperdine, UC-San Diego, Cal-State Northridge and Northern Arizona University. Tosi has received more offers in one week than he previously had for (3) years.
Tosi's recruitment is all over the board as different levels of Division-I programs have staked their claim for him, which suggests that he has the potential to play at almost every level of college basketball. Tosi's size and skillset make him an attractive prospect that should only continue to improve over time and with natural maturity.
Last high school season did not finish the way that Millennium High School wanted it to, but the program definitely had an amazing season in the process. While finishing runner-up for the Open Division State Championship this season, the future looks to be extremely bright for the Millennium program, as the program is loaded with top-rated young and experienced talent. Millennium is projected next season to be one of the nation's elite programs, and last weekend, Head Coach Ty Amundsen and his staff and players put everyone in the West on notice.
Millennium's Tosi had an excellent junior season, and now will be one of most sought after 2025 prospects in the West. Tosi will look to have his best season to date as a senior, as he has more than proven himself this spring, and is prepared to have another big summer as well. While playing for a loaded AZ Select 17U Under-Armour sponsored team this spring, Tosi has been terrific in helping lead the program to numerous strong finishes in events throughout the spring. This AZ Select group will be featured heavily the remainder of the summer.
I will continue to follow his recruitment closely and bring you more updates as they continue to develop for Tosi. He is definitely headed for a nice splash in the next National Player Rankings for the 2025 Class. Stay tuned.
Arizona Hoop Review Scouting Report: Tosi is an excellent prospect for the right college program, as he is a very skilled performer with excellent versatility as a player - able to play inside and out. He can score at all (3) levels, and uses his ability to score off the dribble and in the lane. He is a very good shooter of the basketball with range, and can get his defender off balance and make mid-range shots or finish strong in the lane over defenders. He has excellent length of body, which suggests that he is still growing a great deal, so he still has very good upside. An active rebounder that rebounds outside of his area, and he is an active defender that plays passing lanes. His best years are well ahead of him. College coaches should begin recruiting Tosi now, as he is still a very good sleeper prospect in the West.
