This week he gave a huge announcement when he officially announced his commitment to Florida State University, where he will continue his basketball career at the high-major Division-I level. Jones made a major statement with his decision, choosing to take his talents to one of the premier programs in the ACC.

At 6-5, Jones is a bigger guard prospect and brings excellent size and strength to the guard position, along with a versatile skill-set that allows him to contribute across the board. He is a strong, physical guard who can score the basketball, handle effectively, and defend at a high level. His feel for the game and understanding of spacing, pace, and decision-making reflect his high basketball IQ - something that has been cultivated over years of exposure to the game.
