Edgardo Cordero is 6-foot-1 junior PG (2024 Class), who plays for North Olmsted High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He also plays for the SMAC Caleris on the Adidas circuit. Cordero is a Dominican and
Puerto Rican native, and is a very talented prospect that competes hard.
Cordero had a standout junior season with North Olmsted HS, as he helped lead his high school program to numerous victories in his junior season. He earned an All-Conference award for his efforts, and put up many double-digit performances in the process.
He is a an excellent teammate to be around, is very coachable and willing to buy in to any system. Cordero plays a relentless style with good physicality. He also has a great feel for the game and plays very aggressive against his opponents. He’s an unselfish player that enjoys being a successful playmaker for his teammates. He also has the ability to score with his crafty finishing ability, handles and is a very good shooter of the basketball.
Cordero has his eyes set for a strong AAU/club season with his club team, the SMAC Caleris. He will travel with his program on the West Coast and Midwest this club season. He will also play in his home state of Ohio.
Cordero will look to gain exposure and get offers by many college coaches. Edgardo would be a great fit for the right college program.
