One of the top overall prospects in Arizona's 2026 Class has been no surprise, although he is still making a name for himself nationally, but is well deserving of serious national attention. Canyon International Academy (CIA) has one of the top prep programs in the country, although most national basketball enthusiasts, scouts and media have yet to hear about the program. The program is absolutely loaded with top-rated Division-I talent and one of the top overall prospects in the program is 6-foot superb sophomore guard Miles Sadler. A native of Canada, Sadler came to the state of Arizona just a year ago to play for CIA, and has flourished as a result. Sadler is now one of the hottest young guards in the country.
Sadler showed off his superior ability to compete and the play the game recently with a Top 30 Cream of the Crop performance in the Pangos All-American Camp held earlier this month in Las Vegas, Nevada, at Bishop Gorman High School. In the event, Sadler was very impressive and proved that he was as good as any guard, as also as good as any player in the event. Sadler produced almost every time he had the basketball in his hands throughout the event, and set up himself and his teammates for baskets consistently and with an electric style rarely seen from a guard prospect.
I have marveled since I first saw Sadler take the floor, as he is very unassuming as a player. While he is smaller in stature and lacks any real size to his smaller frame, he simply dominates his competition still with a playing style that does not exude much effort. In other words, Sadler makes the game look easy when he is in his large bag of tricks. Sadler is a floor general, the best I have seen since the beginning to the Spring Evaluation Period. He makes plays consistently with the ball in his hands and gets a lot done. He really enjoys himself when he is on his game, as he has a smile on his face after he gets busy that proves that he was in a special zone all of his own.
Sadler is an excellent scorer and shooter of the basketball also and with excellent range and a quick release on his shot. He is able to get it off consistently also and can really get it going in a hurry, as he did throughout the Pangos All-American Camp. Sadler electrified everyone in attendance in one game that I called at this year's camp.
Sadler burst onto the scene last fall after he was selected among the top overall performers in the Pangos All-West Frosh / Soph Camp held in September (2023) in California.
Sadler currently has a nice list of offers for himself which includes offers from Arizona State, Washington, UNLV, Cal State Northridge and Weber State. He will certainly receive many more offers for himself in the very near future and over the next year. This is a definite high-major Division-I guard prospect.
I expect Sadler to become one of the top guard prospects over time nationally, as he is worthy of a Top 50 national ranking for sure in America's 2026 Class, and should get it after a continued strong summer performance. I will continue to follow Sadler in his recruitment, and bring you updates as they continue to develop.
