This trio of players for Sunnyslope High School (21-8) has taken their team to the state championship. In the two games I watched of Sunnyslope this postseason, it was against Boulder Creek and Millennium High School.In the first matchup, star junior Rider Portela played amazingly on both sides of the ball having 12 points. He almost had a double-double though, but not with rebounds. He finished this game with 8 steals – using his extremely long arms to get in passing lanes and disrupting the offensive players.
