The 22nd Annual Arizona Preps Fall Showcase has concluded, and, in the process, helped many high school basketball programs, for boys and girls, get back to playing basketball in fine fashion. With close to (100) different high school varsity boys and girls teams in action on Saturday, this year's Fall Showcase event was one of a kind, and the biggest installment ever of it's kind for the Arizona Preps' organization. The original showcase event for the state, the Arizona Preps Fall Showcase has been around for a long time, and this year's event was the best ever.
Arizona high schools, like all states around the country, have been without organized high school basketball for some time, due to the consistent and growing COVID-19 pandemic. In an attempt to help Arizona high school varsity teams prepare for the up-and-coming high school basketball season, this year's Fall Showcase allowed for close to (100) different high school varsity programs to participate for FREE, with no team entry fee for the event. Instead, our Arizona Preps' staff through our non-profit organization, raised the funds to cover the expenses for the event, combined with the amazing generosity of Greta Clarke and Inspire Courts to host the event, for the third-consecutive year.
As a result of the Fall Showcase event, hundreds of Arizona players and coaches were given an opportunity to compete in preparation for the high school season, while also being given amazing exposure opportunities to college coaches, scouts and media in attendance on Saturday.
The Arizona Preps Fall Showcase event was the biggest Showcase event of it's kind in the history of the state of Arizona - breaking new ground in Arizona, and setting the stage for the future of the event.
The Arizona Preps' staff worked very hard on this event to make it happen, and also worked hard to follow COVID guidelines set by the state. Even with several other events taking place on the day of this year's Fall Showcase, the event still proved to be an event in very high demand by the basketball community - proving that the state of the Arizona basketball community is in excellent shape going forward.
