The 2012 Arizona Magic Pump N Run boy's club tryouts are set for March 3, 2012 at Gilbert Christian High School located at 3632 East Jasper Drive, Gilbert 85296.
The Arizona Magic Basketball Organization has been the #1 high school basketball club in Arizona for the past 12-years at the high school levels, producing (4) NBA players, (31) professional players overseas and over (200) college scholarship players.
The Magic is sponsored by Adidas through Double Pump (CA), (Pump-N-Run), nationally known as the best marketers of the nation's top talent. Both partners are critical for getting our players seen by thousands of college and professional coaches nationally. Our teams only play at college viewing or recruiting services attended tournaments, maximizing our player's chances to be recruited to the next level.
The Magic basketball program is run by Jeff de Laveaga, a former professional basketball player and founder of the Arizona Gym Rats - which had won 24 AAU Arizona State Championships, 9 National Championships, and over 350 competitive tournament championships at the u9 through u14 levels in just eight short years. In his first season with the Magic (2010), Coach de teams won (5) high profile tournaments and had a combine record of 67-7 throughout the spring and summer.
In 2011, de Laveaga's teams won (5) u17 events, (4) u16 events and the only u15 event he participated in, which included (2) National Adidas events versus the top teams on the West Coast.
