Pima Community College 6-foot-4 sharp-shooting freshman combo-guard Will Feagles has continued to prove himself as one of the top young guard prospects in the ACCAC this season, as the talented freshman from Pima College put together a strong season and helped one of the nation’s top junior college programs continue its dominance. Feagles, a graduate of Scottsdale’s Notre Dame Prep High School, averaged 11 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2 assists per game this season, while shooting an impressive 39.9% from three-point range, 42.6% from the field and 93.1% from the free-throw line. His ability to shoot the basketball at a high level, combined with his athleticism and skill level, made him a valuable contributor for the Aztecs this season.

Feagles had an excellent high school career at Notre Dame Prep, where he teamed up with numerous other Division-I prospects and helped build one of the state’s stronger high school programs. Rather than rush his college process, Feagles chose to attend Pima College to improve his overall recruitment, develop his body and game and position himself for stronger college opportunities. That decision has clearly paid off.

At Pima, Feagles has shown that he is a very athletic and skilled guard prospect. He has a nice shooting stroke, excellent confidence from the perimeter and the ability to make plays in transition. His shooting percentages speak volumes, especially his elite free-throw percentage, which shows his touch, focus and ability to convert in pressure situations.

Feagles is also a player with very good upside. He plays with energy, understands how to fit within a winning system and has continued to improve while competing in one of the best junior college programs in the country. Pima College has become a national powerhouse under Head Coach Brian Peabody, and Feagles’ development within that program should only help his future recruitment.

At this time, Feagles has not made it clear whether he will return to Pima College for another season or move on to a four-year college program. Either way, he has positioned himself well. If he returns to Pima, he should have an opportunity to take on an even larger role next season. If he decides to move on, he has proven that he can help a college program with his shooting, athleticism and skill-set.

Feagles is definitely a prospect for college programs to continue evaluating closely. Guards who can shoot the basketball at a high level, compete athletically and continue to develop are always valuable at the next level.

I will continue to follow Will Feagles’ college recruitment closely and bring you any updates as they continue to develop.
