Highland Prep High School's 6-foot-4, 190-pound senior guard Presley Ibeh is now officially off the recruiting board, as he has made his college decision - giving a nice commitment to Northwest Missouri State this weekend. Ibeh soared under the recruiting radar for some time, before recently receiving two different offers for himself, which he ultimately chose from. Ibeh is a very nice athletic talent that plays both ends of the floor at a high level, and is coming off an excellent senior season for himself. He is an absolute steal for Northwest Missouri State and new Head Coach Matt Keeley.
Former Ottowa University Head Coach Matt Keeley is the new Head Coach @ Northwest Missouri State, a well deserved honor for Keeley, who served as the head coach at Ottawa University for the past (7) seasons. Keeley developed a relationship with Ibeh while at Ottowa, and now it is has led to a nice commitment for Northwest Missouri State. Ibeh also held offers from Black Hills State, Embry Riddle and Cal State San Marcos, before his decision.
I have spoken about Ibeh being well under recruited for some time now. Ibeh is a gifted and athletic guard prospect that took his game to another level this high school season, and became one of the state's elite athletic talents. Ibeh consistently improved his overall numbers each high school season, and had a very good high school career, which was highlighted this high school season with a broken backboard in a game. The broken backboard came in a game at Phoenix Christian High School during the high school season, in which Ibeh went to catch an alley-oop pass from a teammate on an inbounds play. The attempted two-handed dunk brought down the backboard, as everyone in attendance was in shock.
Ibeh was one of the state's elite individual performers during his senior season, although he was in the state's 2A Division and so many basketball enthusiasts never saw him play. This young man posted nice numbers during his senior season - averaging 23.2 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3 steals per/game. Ibeh did all he could to help his program compete each night in the state's 2A Division. While the 2A Division is not regarded as an elite Division in the state, Ibeh can play with anyone. He also consistently proved his value on the club circuit, as he has helped his AZ Factory program to numerous strong finishes throughout his tenure with the program.

Arizona Hoop Review Scouting Report: Ibeh is a nice find as a guard prospect, as he is a Russell Westbrook-type (NBA) as a player. A strong and athletic combo-guard prospect with a good handle and strong defensive prowess. A very good scorer that attacks consistently off the dribble, and also possess a strong mid-range game, Ibeh has also become a serious defender on the ball that competes hard and plays passing lanes. He has the potential to be a lock-down defender at the collegiate level. Ibeh's defensive abilities will allow him to play early in college. He has also improved his finishing ability and decision making on the floor, and is now able to play both guard positions legitimately - a nice attribute, although he is at his best as a driver and finisher. An excellent sleeper guard prospect.
