2021 Prospect Spotlight: Brady Ramon – Salpointe Catholic

When I started my career in basketball here in Arizona, I have always been a huge fan of Reservation Basketball. I love the intensity and pace that Native American athletes play at. I love their ability to shoot the ball as well. This year we plan to cover more of the Native American Circuit Events to discover Arizona’s best hidden-gem prospects.

Salpointe Catholic historically has had talented players. This year, 6-foot senior guard Brady Ramon has been making some noise. Ramon has been averaging 17.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2 steals per/game.

Ramon has a high basketball IQ and knows how to fill the transition lanes well.  He is a pure scorer with a consistent ability to hit from long range and mid-range. I love his smooth, yet quick release. He plays pretty well on defense with good on and off-the-ball defensive skills. He is definitely underrated, and I know he is drawing some attention from tribal colleges. He brings a lot of upside with his scoring and passing ability.

Ramon is one of the key pieces in leading Salpointe’s defense of their 4A Title. He plays at a good pace with great offensive ability and IQ. He is a leader for his team, and I think any college will benefit from his skill-set.

I look forward to following Salpointe Catholic into their playoff run.
