The 2024-205 high school basketball regular season has come to a close now, and the moment that we have all been waiting for is now upon us, as the Open Division State Playoffs are set to begin this week on Wednesday (2/19) with each of the (32) teams in action on the evening. Three-time defending state champion and two-time Open Division State Champion Perry High School is again the program to beat in this year's playoffs, while Sunnyslope checks in as the #2 overall seed, Millennium receives a #3 overall seed and Basha and Sandra Day O'Connor High School round out the top (5) overall seeds for the Open Division.
There are many exciting first round match-ups on Wednesday, led by Central High School facing Sandra Day O'Connor on the road, and Brophy Prep traveling to Prescott to face Prescott High School. We are looking forward to bringing you our updates on as many games as possible throughout the playoffs, as our staff will be out in full force over the next month, as we conclude another exciting high school basketball season.
