With the 2023 Class beginning to move on, college coaches are now focusing on the 2024 Class of prospects around the country. With this heightened focus on the class, we have updated and now release our NEW Individual Player Rankings. We begin our new rankings with Arizona's 2024 senior class of prospects. The 2024 Class is very loaded with many gifted prospects in this class.
Top-rated prospects in the class helped themselves in our new rankings with strong performances this spring, and through the high school and prep seasons. Prospects emerged throughout the process and now are in the conversation for much higher college recruitment. These rankings have no guarantees for an individual player's recruitment, as there are only so many college scholarships or recruiting opportunities available, but these rankings can have a major impact. For some early committed prospects, these rankings could solidify their standing in the class, while for some others that are uncommitted, it could put a stamp of approval for a prospect that a college program is considering. Either way, our staff did the best job we could to create these new "Super 30" Player Rankings to help with the process.
These rankings for the 2024 Class are talented at each position, and do not dictate a player's value or worth to a college program, as each player has different and unique attributes that will help with their ability to play beyond high school. A higher or lower ranking by our staff does not indicate a player's potential opportunity to play college basketball, but rather where they rank among their peers overall in the class. Our staff has seen each of the top overall prospects in the state through countless hours of evaluations and scouting events and games daily throughout the year, so we believe our player observations to be very accurate.
Here are our NEW "Super 30" Individual Player Rankings for high school and prep school seniors for the 2024 Class, in ranking order. These rankings will be updated throughout the year . . .

Verbally committed early to Baylor University. A Top 20 National prospect in America’s 2024 Class.
3. Vyctorius Miller 6-5 SR PG/SG/SF AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, AZ) Club Team: West Coast Elite
Miller has an excellent feel for the game and makes the game look quite easy. He plays at a good pace and also is very skilled - able to create off the dribble and make plays with excellent body control and athleticism. He is a high flyer with excellent length of body, and still growing a great deal, which will only see his game develop and mature with natural maturity and physical strength. Miller is a very good shooter with unlimited range on his shot, which sets up his drives to the basket and the rest of his game. His ability to make plays is what truly what makes him special, and his handle allows him to get to anywhere he wants on the floor. Miller is a unique talent that has loads of potential and upside for the future. While he is already projected as a Top 20 prospect nationally, he could become even better than that with a very strong junior season. He has the physical tools and skillset to do so. A very high level prospect with NBA potential.
4. Jamari Phillips 6-3 SR SG AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, AZ) Club Team: Paul George Elite EYBL
A very skilled and talented scorer with versatility as a combo-guard. He is as explosive a scorer as there is in the country, and he has proven it consistently over the years Enough to give an early verbal commitment to the University of Arizona. Has a very good shooting stroke, although he can be streaky at times. He is a good ball handler, driver and finisher with the ball in his hands, and he is able to make plays for his team. Can create. A good defender that plays passing lanes. Has a bright future ahead and with the Wildcats.
5. Makhan Diof 7-foot SR C Bella Vista Prep (Scottsdale, AZ)
A native of Senegal, Diof is the best pure overall talent in the Bella Vista program, and he is a mere 2024 prospect. At 7-foot in height, Diof is an athletic, skilled and versatile talent that raises eyebrows with his play every time he steps on the floor. Runs the floor very well and finishes strong at the rim. He has good low post moves and also an ability to shoot the basketball from mid-range. He has very good explosion off the ground as well for his size. This young man has a very high ceiling as well and so he is a tremendous prospect for college programs to begin recruiting. A future NBA-level talent with serious hard work. Among the very best overall pure talents in this class for Arizona, so we could see him improve on this ranking and a national ranking over time, as more scouts and media see him in action. An impressive talent.
6. Marcus Allen 6-6 SR SF AZ Compass (Chandler, AZ) Club Team: Florida Rebels
A native of Miami, Florida, Allen was a terrific addition to the AZ Compass Prep program this season. Allen is a top-rated, 4-star prospect - currently ranked among the nation's Top 50 prospects in America's 2024 Class. I am impressed with his size, unique skillset and athletic talent. Allen is a potential lock-down defender that utilizes his best defense to create offense for himself. He plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor and is a superb talent that creates plays with his work ethic and toughness. He is a strong slasher and finisher, and plays well above the rim, and with authority. He has excellent overall versatility as a player and is capable of playing or defending several positions on the court. I love this young man's potential. A superb talent that will play immediately in college as a result of his toughness and ability to defend several positions.
7. Styles Phipps 6-2 SR PG St. Mary’s High School (Phoenix, Arizona) Club Team: Oakland Soldiers EYBL
Whether as a scorer or as a facilitator, Phipps enjoys having the basketball in his hands. The ball is a string in his hands and he is almost a magician with the basketball. Phipps has put in countless hours of ball handling and practice for himself over the years, and it seriously shows in his approach to the game. He is difficult to defend as a result of being able to get anywhere he wants to on the floor. He almost toys with his defenders at times, which can be a blessing and a curse. Because Phipps can almost do what he wants, he will continue to develop when and what to do with the basketball, as the game simply comes easy to him. Phipps pushes the basketball up the floor to the open man, and plays fast, but in a controlled manner. He dissects defenses and surveys the floor - looking for cutters or the open man on the floor. He is a good shooter of the basketball with range, and will really develop in this area over time. He has an excellent mid-range game and is becoming much more consistent from longer ranges. He is a very good rebounder for his size and position, as he has a serious knack and nose for the basketball. His best attribute though is in his ability to defend. When he locks in defensively, he is very capable of becoming a serious lock-down defender over time - an attribute that will benefit him a great deal throughout his high school career and down the road.
8. Pharaoh Compton 6-7 SR PF AZ Compass (Chandler, AZ) Club Team: Vegas Elite EYBL
Compton is a relentless rebounder that plays with a nice motor and is a strong finisher at the rim. He has excellent length of arms and broad shoulders, which allow him to rebound at a high rate and finish over and around defenders on put-backs. He is a strong target for guards around the paint, and finishes with authority after the pass. He runs the floor very hard and gets scoring opportunities, as a result of his ability to run the court and gain good low post position. Runs rim to rim. A good shooter from mid-range that can catch, turn and face his opposition, and make plays at the rim, off the dribble. Gets to the free throw line quite often, and is a solid free-throw shooter. He will develop offensively over time, but he has a nice skillset already that compliments his activity as a player.
9. Jovan Miliicevic 6-9 SR PF Dream City Christian Prep (Glendale, AZ) Club Team: AZ Unity EYBL
Milicevic plays like an international-born player, as he has a pure shooting stroke with unlimited range. He has a quick release on his shot, and is able to get his shot off quite well against quick defenders. He also can post up and shoot over defenders and has a very advanced feel for the game, which allows him to see cutters and find the open man on the floor. He is a good ball handler for his size, and has good overall versatility as a player. He is a solid rebounder but should improve in this area a great deal over time, as he mature physically and gains more explosiveness. A solid team defender that will also need to focus on this area to maximize his potential as a player and as a prospect. A nice looking prospect.
10. Sammie Yeanay 6-8 SR SF AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, AZ)
A strong post player with excellent length of arms and broad shoulders. He is an excellent rebounder and finisher around the rim. His extreme length allows him to finish plays strong over defenders outstretched arms. He has a good overall skill level, which allows him to play inside and out. Has a soft touch from the perimeter with some range on his shot. He has quick feet which allow him to get off the ground quickly. A good shot-blocker. A good low post defender and capable of guarding the wing position. Has serious upside. A Top 100 prospect by ESPN.
11. Tayshawn Bridges 6-1 SR PG Hillcrest Prep (Phoenix, AZ)
Bridges is an NBA-level explosive athlete that can score in bunches. He is a human high-wire act at times, as a result of his tenacity and the manner in which he plays. He is a very strong driver of the basketball and finisher in the lane, over and around defenders. He is a very good shooter as well that can create his own shot off the dribble and make plays. He is a good feel for the game. He pushes the ball up the floor and plays very fast. An excellent athlete. A strong defender with very quick hands and feet. A potential lock down defender. A Top 100 selection by ESPN for the 2024 Class.
12. Luke Bamgboye 6-10 SR PF Bella Vista Prep (Scottsdale, AZ)
Bamgboye is a very good looking prospect. He possesses very good size and athleticism, although he still has a very thin frame that needs to add some serious size and muscle. He is extremely active though and gets a lot done. A high-energy forward that benefits a great deal from his motor and bounce off the floor. A good shooter with range, and also has a good jump hook around the basket. Still somewhat raw offensively. Active rebounder and an excellent shotblocker. An active defender that competes. Has huge upside potential. A native of London. Currently has many high-major offers on the table.
13. Anthony Batson Jr. 6-3 SR SG Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) Club Team: AZ Select UAA
Anthony Batson has had a breakout performance this spring, and is seeing his college recruitment begin to soar as a result - receiving offers from Stanford and Arizona State, among others. Since his freshman season, where he helped lead his program to a nice state playoff run, Batson has been highly regarded by our staff. A strong and athletic guard prospect with a nice overall skillset that allows him to score the basketball. He has a live body and is active on both ends of the floor. A very good shooter of the basketball that has worked hard to shoot the ball better and become more consistent from longer ranges. A strong driver and finisher above the rim. Fundamentally sound. This young man is a nice sleeper prospect already in the class, since he is not a big name, yet. A Dwayne Wade-type. Loves this young man's potential for the future.
14. Bradey Henige 7-0 SR PF/C Cactus High School (Glendale, AZ) Club Team: West Coast Elite
Henige is a big post prospect with good footwork and a very good overall offensive skillset. He is very effective around the basket since he is left-handed and has a knack for scoring the basketball around the basket, with a variety of jump hooks. Also can step outside and make shots out to three-point distance, which is his best value - versatility. Still growing into his frame, so still needs to mature physically and get stronger to maximize his potential as a player. Runs the floor hard and well. Good finisher in transition. Has good low post footwork. An active rebounder. Has some upside. One of the top overall statistical producers in the country for his junior season, where he averaged 24.2 points, 17.4 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per/game.
