Anthony Smith III has been truly working hard and motivated himself onto another level. Anthony Smith's skill-set has been fantastic against superior competition. He can shoot the ball at a superior level from off the catch and bounce. He’s one of the best dribble scorers I have seen around the basketball business. "A3," as he is known, has a great mid-range jumper for college coaches to be impressed with. He is capable of making nice floaters from mid-range, and he has very good full court and half court vision. He makes smart moves inside the perimeter to score the ball, and is a superior ball handler, while also being a successful playmaker - able to make his teammates better on the floor. He is super shifty and quick, which gives him the advantage to go by stronger and athletic defenders - able to get to the rim and finish both with hands.
Anthony Smith III is more confident in himself than he was in his past. Last spring and summer, he played well on the 3SSB Adidas Circuit with D1 Minnesota - successful against high level competition on the circuit and averaging 15 to 18 points per/game on the circuit.
