Camden Cooper is 6-foot-2 G 7th Grader (Class of 2028) who plays for St. Johns Country Day (Jacksonville, FL) on the high school varsity level, where he plays for Head Coach Ian Gibson.
Camden is currently one of the best prospects in the country in the class of 2028. He has been a varsity player since he was in the 6th grade. Camden has played (2) years of varsity high school basketball in his early career, and he had an outstanding season as a 7th grader.
Cam has a very high IQ and does not let the crowd or any outside influences affect his play. He is a leader and one of the team captains as a 7th grader. He faced box-and-1 defenses in 75% of the games he played in this year. He’s an amazing natural scorer. He has a big game in a small physical frame.
Camden has put up highs of 32 and 34 points in games, and has scored double-figures in all (24) of his season games this year. He led his high school team to (15) wins this season, and is averaging 24 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists per/game. He’s been consistent with his numbers this whole season. He also put up (5) 20-point games in his 6th grade year for varsity high school basketball. Camden is at 675 career total points in his high school career as a 7th grader.
Camden Cooper played with top rated program DME Academy for middle school when he was only in 5th grade. He started as a 5th grader on their middle school team. He was being effective against 7th/8th graders.
Camden currently holds (4) D-I offers as a 7th grader. He holds offers from Jacksonville, North Florida, Western Carolina and Queens University of Charlotte.
Camden has been attending college camps and played with many college recruits. He’s also played USA basketball and played very well. Camden has always played with older players.
