Learning Foundation and Performing Arts (LFPA) standout London Haskell, a 6-foot-8 senior and a member of Arizona’s 2026 class, has officially announced his commitment to West Virginia Wesleyan College, where he will continue his academic and basketball career at the NCAA Division-II level. Haskell’s decision comes after an outstanding senior season in which he led LFPA to a 20-1 overall record, and the CAA Division III State Championship. Throughout the season, Haskell established himself as one of the state’s most productive and impactful frontcourt players, using his size, versatility and developing skill set to dominate on both ends of the floor.
Following the spring and summer evaluation period, Haskell carefully weighed his options. He also considered attending a post-graduate program or taking the junior college route before ultimately deciding that West Virginia Wesleyan College presented the best opportunity for both his basketball development and his family’s goals. The opportunity to begin his college career immediately at a four-year institution proved to be the right fit for him and his family.
Haskell understands that continued development will be the key to reaching his long-term goals. While he has been one of the better prospects in Arizona’s 2026 class, he recognized that adding more polish and consistency to his overall game would better prepare him for an eventual climb to the Division-I level. Rather than rushing the process, Haskell is betting on himself by choosing the Division-II route, where he believes he can continue to develop into a Division-I caliber player.
Although Haskell has remained relatively unknown to many college programs throughout much of his high school career, that should begin to change if he continues on his current path. At 6-foot-8 with continued upside and a strong work ethic, he is still developing physically and as a basketball player, making him an intriguing prospect to follow over the coming years. Just as importantly, Haskell is a fine young man who has earned the respect of those around him through his work ethic, character and commitment to improving his game. Those qualities should serve him well as he begins the next chapter of his basketball journey.

Arizona Preps Scouting Report: Haskell is a bigger post player with excellent length of arms on a lengthy frame. He is still growing a great deal but is now starting to become much more comfortable in his skin, and is just starting to turn the corner in his play and production, as a result. Haskell is a strong offensive rebounder and is becoming a better finisher around the basket, his best offensive attribute. He has a good jump hook and uses a variety of shots around the basket to score. Haskell is left-handed and is a little unorthodox offensively, but it will benefit him over time as he matures physically and becomes much more assertive offensively. Currently he is a strong rebounder and capable shot-blocker, so he will continue to see much of his playing time as a stretch four-man. Over time, he will need to become much more of a stretch-4 man, with an ability to make shots from the perimeter to maximize his potential as a player and as a prospect. This will come over time. A strong finisher and runs the floor hard. Has developed his offensive skillset a great deal over the past year, but will need to continue to work hard to fully develop as a player. Has upside.
