James Sanderson is a 6-foot-1 rising sophomore PG (2026 Class) who plays for Emerson High School (McKinney, TX) and also plays for Team Griffin on the Nike EYBL circuit. Sanderson has loads of potential and is a gifted point-guard in the 2026 Class.
Sanderson had an outstanding spring season on the EYBL Circuit with Team Griffin. He is quickly becoming a serious college prospect in the state of Texas, as college programs are now taking early notice of him. He recently received a nice offer from Arizona State University, his first offer. He has also gained serious interest from Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and several more Division-I programs. I look for him to generate many more offers for himself over time.
He has tremendous skill as a PG and is very talented. Sanderson has also made big strides in his development. He was very impressive @ the Nike EYBL Session 2 in Arizona, and college coaches have followed him since. Many college coaches have been impressed with the manner in which he impacts the game at a high level.
He has battled many injuries in his past, but he has motivated himself to push through some tough times. Sanderson will keep working in the gym and continue his amazing development on the national level, which should take his recruitment to another level.
