One of the elite overall prospects in Arizona's 2025 Class is coming off an excellent spring and summer for himself, while raising his recruiting stock as a result. Bella Vista Prep's talented and gifted 6-foot-5 junior guard Jaden Vance has been regarded as a future elite-level talent since he was very young, and now he is starting to realize his potential as a college prospect. Vance has grown a great deal physically over the past several years, and his best years are well ahead of him. He is already rated by our staff among the top overall prospects in the 2025 Class, but look for him to continue to rise in our individual player rankings as the year continues to progress.
Vance played this spring and summer for a talented Team Zona 16U quad and raised many eyebrows with his play. He would earn his first Division-I offer as a result of his play over the NCAA July Evaluation period - receiving an offer from Tarleton State in the process. This offer will surely be the first of many offers for Vance in the future, as more college coaches catch a glimpse of him over the next year. This young man is a unique talent with excellent size for the guard position and the physical fluidity of a smaller prospect. He is one prospect definitely on the rise.
Vance began his career at AZ Compass Prep before landing at Bella Vista Prep, which is also a prep program in the state that is on the rise. The prep program is loaded with talent for all college levels, and Vance is one prospect that makes the future look very bright for Bella Vista.
Vance is one of my favorite overall prospects in the state, regardless of class, as I love his skill level and long, rangy physical frame. He has tremendous upside as a player and has unlimited potential for the future. He is a very skilled and lengthy guard prospect with a superb handle and feel for the game. A very good scorer with a slick approach to the game, and is able to weave in and out of the lane with his dribble, and finish strong at the basket. Vance can create scoring opportunities for himself and others, almost at will. He is a very good shooter with range and a quick release. Has a nice mid-range game as well, and pushes the basketball up the floor. He is able to plays fast and has excellent body control. He is also a slick defender with quick hands and feet, and good court anticipation. He also plays with superior confidence on the floor. He is an underrated prospect and has as high of a ceiling as any other prospect in the 2025 Class.
Vance helped himself this spring and summer as much as any other prospect that I observed, and I look forward to seeing great things from him in the future. Definitely a prospect on the rise and one to watch for the future.
