This event continues to impress, as I feel like the intensity picked up on Day 2. The day began with the Rising Middle School Division Team Showcase followed by the freshmen and high school girls. The event was loaded with top scouts like Harold Abend of Cal-Hi Sports and top media outlets from all over the West Coast. This event was loaded with future Division-I and WNBA prospects. Here are some of the top performers from Day 2 . . .
2026 Prospects:
Lizzie Quinteros 5-8 Point Guard Bishop O’Dowd
Quinteros is an elite high major point guard who has excellent size and athleticism. What stood out to me is her ability and willingness to defend anyone on the floor. Quinteros has a great motor and IQ, which compliments her offensive skill set. She is a three-level scorer who looks to get her teammates involved. Ultimately she makes her team better, and she will have a storied high school career.
It was a war when she matched up against fellow top prospect Brooklyn Haywood. Both prospects traded bucket for bucket in probably the most intriguing one-on-one matchup of the event. This matchup solidifies that both prospects can flat out go. Kameo Williams and his Gems In The Gym platform have solidified elite status by drawing in some of the best talent in the county. Quinteros and Haywood’s stock has completely skyrocketed, as they proved their high major status all weekend.
Sadie Sin 5-3 Guard Clovis (CA)
Sin is a solid sleeper prospect who knows how to strike when the iron is hot. She is a sniper who can consistently hit from deep range. Sin led her team to a strong come back and complimented her teammates well. I just like how she heats up and turns into a scoring machine. She is definitely a prospect to keep a tab on.
Sofia Ross 5-7 Point Guard Bishop Alemany (CA)
Ross is an elite floor general that I project to be a mid-major plus. She has an athletic frame and facilitates well. She displayed she can score at all three levels and defends well. I anticipate her to have a big splash this upcoming season.
Ross has a solid platform as she is a gym rat with good athleticism. I like her patience as she surveys the court well, and utilizes her IQ to make sound decisions to create scoring opportunities for herself or her teammates. Defensively she can get after it and use her athleticism to gain an edge over her opponents.
Touraya Blakely 5-4 Guard Lincoln (CA)
Blakely was hands down one of the best defenders I saw compete all day. She has a fantastic platform to be a nice sleeper prospect, as she has superior athleticism and frame. Blakely does not hesitate to pick up her opponent from anywhere on the floor, and displays the ability to lockup opponents from 94-feet.
Her offensive game is still young however she has good shot selection and score well inside and from mid-range. Blakely still provides tremendous upside and I anticipate her recruiting to skyrocket, as she continues to grow and develop.
2027 Prospects:
Teryn Green 5-7 Guard Gems In The Gym Select
Green is definitely a gem prospect who has good three level scoring ability and tight handles. Her skillset proved to be efficient against her competition. She does play hard on both ends of the floor and has tremendous upside. I like her platform and skillset as her game grew on me after observing her both days.
Breely Shriver 5-11 Wing HUI
Shriver has a solid platform as she passes the eye test. She has good size and length which poses a matchup nightmare for forwards and wings. Shriver runs the floor on both ends and battles hard on the glass. Another solid sleeper prospect to keep a tab on.
Ella Bibbins 5-6 Guard Gems In The Gym Select
Bibbins is a solid sleeper prospect with great motor on both ends of the floor. She is an elite defender who is not afraid to lock up the competition. Besides being an elite defender, she displayed good offensive ability by being able to score at all three levels. She will be a solid college prospect in the future.
2028 Prospects:
Isabelle Le 4-8 Point Guard HUI
Le can hoop as she was one of the better floor generals in the event. She has a nice floater while driving down the lane and can facilitate for her teammates. Le has a tight handle with the ability to break down defenders and attack the middle of the defense. She held her own against bigger competition because she is extremely skilled.
