Arizona's 2026 Class of prospects is loaded with talented college prospects for the future. Another one of the elite prospects in this class is Millennium High School's gifted, sharp-shooting 6-foot-5, 175-pound sophomore guard Brayden Barrett. The Millennium High School basketball program is filled with talented younger prospects, and Barrett is among the very best of them, as he is a specialist as a shooter and has excellent size for the future. Barrett is on his way to future stardom in the class, as he has consistently developed at a nice pace over the past several years that I have evaluated him.
When I first caught my first glimpse of Barrett, he was a very tall and versatile 7th grader that was well beyond his years in his skill level and approach to the game. He has grown physically a great deal since then, while consistently improving his skillset and range on his jumper. Barrett is a sniper from three-point distance and now has unlimited range on his shot - spreading the floor consistently, and opening up the floor for his teammates. He has always been an excellent shooter of the basketball, and now he is adding more to his bag with an improved ability to handle the basketball and make plays off the dribble. He will only continue to round into nice form over time, and he is developing very well for the future.
Over time, Barrett will receive loads of Division-I offers for himself, as every college program loves elite shooters, and especially with excellent size and fundamentals. Barrett has yet to receive his first offer, but he certainly will very soon, as college coaches decide to begin the recruiting process for him. It will not be for much longer.
Barrett has had an excellent spring and summer for himself thus far, as he has had very good success while playing on the Nike EYBL Circuit with the Arizona Unity 15U EYBL team - a team that is absolutely loaded with talent and was invited to the Nike Peach Jam this week in Georgia. Barrett plays a big role with a very talented group, and has shot the basketball with confidence all club season.
The Millennium program is among the elite programs in the state, and includes 6-foot-8 star sophomore Cameron Holmes and 6-foot-8 junior Kingston Tosi. Both prospects are among the very elite prospects in the state and are hot among college coaches currently. Barrett is a nice complimentary addition to this duo, as he spreads the floor and keeps defenses very honest.
Look for Barrett to make a nice introduction into our NEW 2026 Class Individual Player Rankings to be released next week. I will continue to follow Barrett's college recruitment closely, and bring you any recruiting updates as they begin to develop.
