Chaparral High School's steady and true point guard prospect Brandon Hoffer is now officially off the recruiting board after signing a national letter of intent with a strong division-II program in the West.
Recently, Hoffer released the fact that he has signed with Colorado Mesa University, formerly known as Mesa State College. Head coach Andy Shantz and his staff did an excellent job in recruiting the hard working Hoffer to the program, and they continue to recruit the state's top basketball talent
Hoffer is a basketball gym rat that works as hard as any player in the state on his craft - on and off the floor. He is coming off another good spring and summer performance, leading his club program Arizona Power 17U to a successful club season.
Hoffer is a special player that possesses an excellent basketball IQ. He is a born leader with excellent toughness and grit as a player. He also has excellent work ethic and loves to work on his game and develop as a player.
Hoffer returns this season as a senior to lead a very talented Chaparral High School team that will compete for this year's Division-I state title. Hoffer will have started at the point guard position all four years for his high school program - an impressive fact.
Congratulations to Hoffer on this impressive accomplishment from our Arizona Preps' staff. His hard work has and will continue to pay off for him - one of the most underrated prospects in the state.
