One of the top guard prospects in the 2026 class, Perry High School's Sage Henry, has been offered by the University of Utah. This isn’t a surprise, as Henry is a sure-fire high-major Division-I prospect. Standing at 5-foot-9, Henry has the length and athleticism to pose a match-up nightmare for opposing guards.

In the games I observed her, Henry is a three-level scorer that plays with a fast pace. She is deadly in transition, as she is the type of prospect who knows how to strike the iron when it’s hot. Besides being an impactful scorer, she has a tight handle, facilitation ability, and is a stout defender. My favorite attribute is her ability to make plays in critical moments.

I was able to catch up with her Head Coach Andrew Curtis and this is what he said about her, “Sage loves to be in the gym. From day one, she has been committed to learning the defense and doing whatever the team needs to be successful. A lot of talented young players and families come in with agendas and things they want out of their situation, however, Sage and the Henry Family showed 100% buy-in to what we are trying to do here at Perry High School. This is exactly why she is going to be successful as a player at Perry and the next level, but more importantly as a person in life.”

I am excited to be able to watch her again at the Nike Tournament of Champions. I am confident that her recruitment will heat up from now and into the Spring and Summer. I urge college coaches to check out Henry, as I feel her stock is on the rise and she is a hot commodity. A lot more schools will pull the trigger to offer her.
