Arizona Preps is proud to announce and would like to introduce George Courtney to our basketball staff. Courtney will immediately begin to cover Arizona's top prospects for the Arizona Preps' site in Central and Southern Arizona.
Courtney was born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu in the state of Hawaii, and has lived in Arizona since 2007. He graduated from Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu, HI, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Grand Canyon University. Courtney is also working on completing his Masters Degree in Athletic Coaching Education from Ball State University, and is scheduled to finish in Mid-July of 2020.
Courtney has (8) years of coaching experience at several different high schools and club programs in the Central Arizona Area.
His ultimate goal is to lead a high school boys program then become an assistant coach at the collegiate level over time.
Courtney's strengths include building relationships, networking, passion, energy and enthusiasm. We would like to welcome Courtney to the Arizona Preps' staff and are excited to have him covering Arizona's best student-athletes in the area.
