The 8th Annual Visit Mesa.com Basketball Challenge is set to begin on Friday, December 26th and will be again hosted by Mesa Mountain View High School. This annual event has become the best collection of high school basketball teams in the state annual in a showcase format - comprised of some of the top teams in the state.
Over a five-day span, tournament organizers will feature some exciting match-ups with the action beginning on Friday afternoon and concluding on Wednesday (12/31) afternoon just in time for the New Year to take place late Wednesday evening.

Phoenix St. Mary's vs. Gilbert Christian, 2:30 p.m.
Scottsdale Chaparral vs. Tempe, 4 p.m.
Mesa Red Mountain vs. Phoenix Pinnacle, 5:30 p.m.
Mesa Mountain View vs. Gilbert, 7 p.m.
Tempe Corona del Sol vs. Philadelphia Imhotep Charter, 8:30 p.m.
Saturday's (12/27) matchups:
Tempe vs. Phoenix Desert Vista, 10 a.m.
Pinnacle vs. Phoenix Sunnyslope, 11:30 a.m.
Imhotep vs. St. Mary's, 1 p.m.
San Luis Obispo (Calif.) Mission Prep vs. Mesa Red Mountain, 2:30 p.m.
Gilbert vs. Las Vegas Canyon Springs, 4 p.m.
Gilbert Christian vs. Corona del Sol, 5:30 p.m.

* The showcase format will continue Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week with only three games on Dec. 31, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There is no bracket play in the Visit Mesa Basketball Challenge.
