When a student athlete enters High School, the goal is for that student athlete to become a Division-I prospect. Some achieve this goal, while others do not and have to seek opportunities such as Division-II, Division-III, NAIA, Junior College or Post Grad.

There are multiple reasons why those student-athletes were not able to be Division-I prospects, however the question becomes “Did the student-athlete choose the correct high school program, which would prepare them to be a college prospect? In addition, did the student-athlete prepare themselves to the best of their ability to become the best player possible?”

According to the NCAA National Research Data, 40% of all Division-I Men’s Basketball players, who enter Division-I directly out of high school, depart their initial school by the end of their sophomore year.

So, the question becomes, Why Are Student Athletes Transferring So Much? Here’s the answer …

We believe it’s because student-athletes and their families have a lack of knowledge about the college recruiting process, and the real expectations of college basketball - regardless of level.

Since we at Lowe Sports understand this, we feel as if it is our job to educate you. This is why we have created the “TRUTH BE TOLD” series.

In collaboration with the Arizona Preps Recruiting Academy, the Lowe Sports Group brings to you a 4-Part Series entitled “Truth Be Told,” which is a series of workshops catered to a targeted grade level group, to educate the student-athlete and their parents about choosing the right high school/AAU program, the college recruiting process and the realities of college basketball. These workshops provide you valuable information in its realest form. RAW and UNCUT.

If you would like to take part of any of these workshops, please contact myself Phil Lowe at 480-269-1580 or email plowe1228@gmail.com You can also contact Anthony Ray at anttray@gmail.com
