The recruiting race has began very early for Pinnacle High School's star 6-foot-2 freshman combo-guard prospect Nico Mannion.  After already receiving a Top 10 national ranking among the nation's elite members of the 2020 Class, Mannion has become an extremely hot commodity for many high-major college programs across the country, as the young basketball prospect is already generating loads of division-I offers for himself.

Like his club teammate Josh Green with the Earl Watson ELite (CA), Mannion has generated numerous scholarship offers for himself over the past week.

In the past week, Mannion has received offers from Stanford, UNLV, Tulane and Marquette.  Mannion also possesses offers already from the University of Arizona, UCLA, Arizona State and Cal State Northridge, with many more scholarship offers on the horizon.

Mannion traveled with his club program to New York and Indiana throughout the NCAA Evaluation period - making a lot of noise for himself as a result of his strong play on the Under Armour circuit.

A middle school phenom, where he gained major national attention, Mannion made a lot of noise nationally with his play - earning him a Top 5 overall ranking nationally in the 2020 class.

Mannion led his Pinnacle HS team this past season to a 22-7 overall record, and a 6A state playoff berth, before losing in the second round to a loaded and very athletic Chavez team.  In the process, Mannion averaged a very impressive 19.8 points, 4.4 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 steals per/game.

I will continue to follow this young man's progress as a college prospect, and his tremendous development as a player - bringing you any recruiting updates as they continue to develop.

Arizona Hoop Review Scouting Report:  Mannion is a very slick guard prospect with an excellent handle of the basketball and a superb overall offensive skillset.  He has a excellent quickness and very good athleticism, and pushes the basketball up the floor.  He is a terrific shooter of the basketball with range on his shot and a quick release.  A fundamentally sound performer, Mannion has a developed knack of scoring the basketball at a young age.  He is also a very good passer that sees the floor and makes players around him better.  A good on the ball defender with good lateral quickness.  An active rebounder for his size.  He is still growing a great deal and could reach 6-6 in heigth.  The son of a former professional player.  Mannion is a sure-fire prospect for the future and looks to be Arizona's next best young prospect.
