It is already starting for future Arizona superstar guard Nico Mannion, as college coaches are taking serious notice of him, before he has even entered the high school ranks. Still attending classes in middle school as an eigth grader, Mannion has made a lot of noise nationally with his play - earning him a Top 5 overall ranking nationally in the 2021 class. This week, Mannion received his first division-I offer - the first of many.
This week Mannion would receive his first offer from Cal State Northridge as head coach Reggie Theus and his staff made the decision to get in early on the future recruiting sweepstakes of this talented young prospect.
Minnion made a name for himself competing in national and regional events during the club season, and while playing with his local rising club program, the Arizona Vipers, and also for the nationally-ranked West Coast Elite club program, organized by West Coast scout and club coach Ryan Silver.
Mannion is a very slick guard prospect with an excellent handle of the basketball and a superb overall offensive skillset. He is a sure-fire prospect for the future and looks to be Arizona's next best young prospect.
