The Arizona Power club program in the state of Arizona has been very successful in a short period of time - helping many basketball prospects in the state gain exposure to college coaches, while also giving the state a large, organized club program with many different aspects to help student-athletes develop their skills and promote their abilities. After several years of existence, the program will be taking a new direction - developing into POWERHOUSE HOOPS.
The program is fresh off signing a new contract with Under Armour that will now give the state of Arizona a shoe-sponsored program - creating opportunities nationally for Arizona prospects with the shoe company. The organization announces it's new direction, sponsorship and partnerships for the new year.
Here is a media release from Program Director Jeff Becker on the organization's new direction . . .
Happy New Year from Coach Becker and our entire family of Coaches and Staff! It truly is a “New Year” with all new opportunities for our Basketball Family. As we ring in 2016, the Coaches and Staff of the former Power Basketball organization are embarking on a new course. We would like to welcome you to a NEW program that will significantly enhance the opportunities for all Players, as well as continue to represent the most preeminent Basketball Training Academy and competitive Club Basketball Program in Arizona. Welcome to a Greater Power, welcome to POWERHOUSE HOOPS!
Our number one priority has always been fulfilling our mission of developing outstanding players and to do everything possible to increase their basketball skills development. We will continue to grow young men and women through basketball with the help of Coaches, Trainers, and Staff who value these same ideals.
The new POWERHOUSE HOOPS is a combination of the best Trainers and Coaching Staff in Arizona, a new partnership with a truly global brand, Under Armour, as well as new associations which provide substantial growth in our National footprint with both improved scouting and exposure events. This will allow us to manage our basketball program consistent with our mission, and what we believe will support the long-term growth and development of our players.
Our mission of growing and developing a better individual athlete on and off the basketball court, along with keeping the best interest of players and families intact, is the motivation behind the new PowerHouse Hoops. We remain committed to the three pillars of our program - Maintaining a Strong Work Ethic, Staying True to Your God, and Remaining Loyal to Your Journey.
Under Armour / PowerHouse Hoops Sponsorship
Under the new POWERHOUSE HOOPS, we have established a new strategic partnership with both Under Armour and Eastbay Team Sports. This new partnership provides significant opportunities as we now become part of a National brand with all the exposure and privileges associated with these established brands. I am extremely happy to announce this strategic partnership with Under Armour which will take us through 2016 and well beyond.
As this new brand begins, our family is over 600 players strong with one of the largest Under Armour-like kind sponsorships in the country. This new partnership opens the door to a whole new opportunity and environment for our organization and players. Some of these exciting opportunities include: Under Armour Finals in Atlanta, GA., All American and Elite 100 Camps, as well as more national-level recruiting exposure.

More information will be coming regarding Gilbert/Mesa training locations. Our intent is to host training 1-2x per week. We would love to accommodate to those that cannot make the drive to our Chandler location.
Additionally, as we all juggle trying to accommodate our busy schedules driving to and from facilities, there have been a few concerns about the distance to AZ Compass Prep for academy training. If you believe that you cannot make the drive to AZ Compass Prep for weekly academy training, please contact me directly and I would be pleased to work with you to obtain the best possible option for your particular circumstance.
Myself and my staff will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Please shoot us a direct email and/or give us a call!
