This year's 27th Annual Arizona Preps Fall Showcase event will be different from previous year's events, as it will be bigger than ever, and we will also host an Arizona Preps Fall Showcase Kick-Off event on Friday, October 24th from 6PM to 8PM @ Gilbert High School, and will feature numerous amazing SPECIAL guest speakers on the evening and entertainment! This FREE event will be MANDATORY for each of the players and coaches for the event, and will also be allowed for parents and family to attend as well, as this event will be very exciting to be a part of, as we kick off the 2025-2026 high school basketball season!
The exciting and amazing 27th Annual Arizona Preps Fall Showcase, Arizona’s original showcase basketball event, will be held for close to (60) boy's Arizona varsity high school and prep teams. Each varsity program will be featured in two games on the day. The Fall Showcase will take place Saturday, October 25th, 2025 @ Inspire Courts located @ 1090 N Fiesta Blvd, Gilbert, AZ 85233. All the featured games will take place in one location on the day, as the event will begin with games @ 10AM to 10PM on (5) different courts.
Arizona Preps is very proud to announce that the Kick-Off event on Friday, October 24th will feature 17-year NBA veteran and current NBA G-League Head Coach of the Grand Rapids Gold (MI), Andre Miller. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Miller earned a basketball scholarship to the University of Utah, where he played under legendary coach Rick Majerus. As the leader of the Runnin’ Utes, he guided the team to the 1998 NCAA Championship Game and was named WAC Player of the Year in his senior season. As a standout collegiate player, he was a two time First Team All American (1998-1999) and First Team All-WAC and WAC All-Defensive Team honors.
Following an exceptional senior year, Miller was selected as the 8th overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft. Over the course of 17 seasons, he built an impressive professional career, playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Portland Trail Blazers, Denver Nuggets, Washington Wizards, Sacramento Kings, Minnesota Timberwolves, and San Antonio Spurs.
Coach Miller has a very in depth Coaching Philosophy which includes numerous pillars, which includes Patience and Encouragement, Accountability, Commitment, Connecting with Players, Development, Staffing Responsibilities and Individual & Team Goals. Coach Miller has been very successful in his playing and coaching career, and also very successful in life, after coming from the streets to LA to a highly successful basketball career. A disciple of legendary Head Coach Rick Majerus, Miller is one of the top up & coming coaches in the country, and we are very proud to announce that he will be a part of this year's Fall Showcase Kick-Off Event for ALL the spectators involved.
