The Stellar 6 Boys Fall League opened in spectacular fashion, featuring three intense and highly competitive matchups that highlighted teams on a promising upward trajectory. Among the standout performances was Ben Franklin, which proved to be a team to watch in the 3A Conference. Often overlooked in previous seasons, they displayed significant growth, hinting that they could be the league’s dark horse. Their development over the offseason was unmistakable, as they played with cohesion and energy, showing the results of hard work and dedication. This early glimpse suggests that Ben Franklin could surprise many as the season unfolds.

Here are some of the top performers from the League’s Week 1 Matchups:

Ezaar Barrow 2026 6’6 Wing Crismon

Barrow initially drew my attention due to his impressive athleticism, size, and promising potential. His physical attributes and natural abilities stand out - showcasing a high ceiling for growth. With ongoing development and refinement of his skills, he has the potential to emerge as a standout sleeper prospect. Barrow's combination of athleticism and size makes him a player to watch, as he could evolve into a significant contributor with further progress.

Alheem Blevins Jr. 2026 6’0 Guard Desert Sunrise

Blevins Jr. is a swift and crafty guard who excels in fast-paced, transition play, where his speed and agility make him a constant threat. With an explosive first step, he can blow by defenders with ease and is a lethal downhill scorer, attacking the rim with confidence. On defense, Blevins stands out for his sharp anticipation, often disrupting passing lanes and creating turnovers that fuel his team's transition offense. His quickness, combined with his offensive and defensive instincts, makes him a dynamic player capable of impacting the game on both ends of the floor.

Bennett Christensen 2028 5’11 Guard Ben Franklin

Christensen plays with relentless intensity and boundless energy, making his presence felt on both ends of the court. Offensively, he attacks the defense with aggression, constantly looking to create scoring opportunities. On defense, his hustle and tenacity make him a disruptive force, challenging opponents and forcing mistakes. His ability to impact the game in multiple ways, combined with his high motor, makes Christensen a true game-changer and a valuable asset to his team.

Landon Christensen 2025 6’3 Guard Ben Franklin

Christensen excels at finishing around the basket, showing a knack for converting tough shots with ease. He thrives in fast-break situations, where his speed and agility allow him to push the pace and take advantage of transition opportunities. His ability to keep the game moving quickly puts constant pressure on opposing defenses. Alongside his physical talents, Christensen brings a fierce competitive spirit to the court, playing with intensity and determination that elevates both his performance and that of his teammates. His relentless drive makes him a formidable presence in any game.

Cole Frayley 2026 5’11 Guard Westwood

Frayeley is the driving force and emotional core of his team, embodying its spirit and determination. As a dynamic playmaker, he showcases an exceptional feel for the game, consistently making smart, high-IQ decisions on the court. His ability to read plays, anticipate movements, and execute with precision makes him an orchestrator of his team's success. He will be a solid small college pickup.

George Hyter 2027 6’5 Wing LFPA

Hyter possesses tremendous potential, with a skill set that makes him a versatile offensive threat. His ability to stretch the floor with reliable perimeter shooting forces defenders to guard him beyond the arc, creating space for his teammates. With a high motor, he plays with relentless energy, staying active on both ends of the court. Hyter is equally effective scoring in the paint, using his size and agility to finish around the rim, while also being a dangerous shooter from outside. His well-rounded offensive game gives him a high ceiling as he continues to develop.

Ladamian Jackson 2026 6’0 Guard Desert Sunrise

Jackson is a high-energy player who brings relentless effort and intensity to every game, making a significant impact on both offense and defense. His competitive spirit drives him to consistently give his all, whether he's locking down opponents on defense or creating opportunities for his team on offense. With strong ball-handling skills, Jackson navigates the court with confidence, effectively breaking down defenses and setting up plays. His ability to make smart, timely decisions allows him to be a playmaker, always finding ways to contribute to his team's success.

Ace Lee 2026 6’0 Guard Westwood

Lee is a highly athletic guard who brings relentless energy and intensity to both ends of the court. His competitive drive fuels his aggressive defense and sharp offensive play, making him a constant threat throughout the game. In high-pressure moments, Lee shines the brightest, consistently stepping up to make crucial, game-changing plays when his team needs them most. His ability to perform in the clutch has earned him a reputation as a dependable and fearless competitor.

Dovantae Powell 2025 5’11 Guard Casa Grande

Powell's game steadily impressed me, as his versatility allows him to effectively play both point guard and shooting guard roles. His ability to score at all three levels—driving to the rim, hitting mid-range jumpers, and knocking down shots from deep—makes him a constant offensive threat. On defense, Powell's high basketball IQ shines through as he expertly reads passing lanes, creating turnovers and racking up steals. With his well-rounded skill set and defensive awareness, Powell is poised to be a key factor in Casa Grande Union's playoff push this winter, contributing significantly on both ends of the floor.

James Powell 2025 6’0 Guard LFPA

Powell will be a key contributor to his team’s success this upcoming season with his ability to score from all three levels. He has the athletic ability and skills to be a good defender. I think with his experience from last season, he will be a contributor in the Wolves deep playoff run in the CAA Division 3.
