One very underrated prospect and a very good sleeper prospect for college programs to take a very hard look at is Bradshaw Mountain High School's 6-foot-8, 220-pound senior post Nathan Summit. Summit is coming off a very good senior season for himself, while helping lead his Bradshaw Mountain program to a very good season in 2021. Summit is one of the elite prospects in Northern Arizona, and I really believe he is an excellent prospect for a smaller college program.
Summit is a rare find in Northern Arizona, as he has excellent physical size and strength on a college-ready body that will allow him to play early at the right college program. He is a true post prospect with strong hands that plays strong inside the paint and does not mind physical contact. He is a strong finisher around the basket, and is developing his overall offensive skill-set to be able to step outside and make shots. He runs the floor hard and is a "hard-hat" on the basketball court - willing to do the dirty work to help his team be successful.
Summit is coming off a strong senior season for himself - helping lead Bradshaw Mountain to a 15-5 overall record in the state's 4A Division this season, and to a strong finish in the state playoffs before falling to eventual 4A State Champion St. Mary's High School. Summit averaged 12.1 points, 7.5 rebounds and blocked an impressive 2.9 blocks per/game as a senior. As a junior, Summit also averaged 12.2 points and 9 rebounds per/contest, so the numbers are very consistent for Summit.
Currently, Summit has received several scholarship offers, and he does not still seem to have a clear leader in his college recruitment. Summit is looking to improve his college recruitment this spring, as he was significantly hurt in his overall college recruitment by the COVID-19 pandemic. In a normal year, a prospect with Summit's sheer size and ability to finish and run the floor would have double-digit scholarship offers.
