It was a very good season for Eduprize High School' 6-foot-3, 170-pound junior guard Isaiah Floyd. After helping his new program to their first ever CAA Division-I title and a terrific 26-1 overall record on the season, Floyd raised his overall level of play throughout the high school season. He is now ready and taking his game to new heights in preparation for the spring and summer, and should raise many eyebrows with his overall play and approach to the game.
I had gone through much of the beginning of the season without knowing Floyd very well as a player or as a prospect, as I did not focus much on him while evaluating the Eduprize program, but the more I saw the Eduprize program take the floor, the more I walked away impressed with the value and the overall level of talent of Floyd.
If his performance in several workouts that I have witnessed since the end to the high school season are any indication, this young man looks primed to take his game to another level and create some recruiting opportunities for himself.
A native of southern California, Floyd is a high intensity guard prospect with a high motor and superb athleticism. He plays well above the rim at times and is relentless on the offensive glass, a difficult defensive match-up as a result of his activity and ability to make plays without the basketball or plays being run for him. He is an excellent slasher and finisher and thrives in the open court, where he is a capable highlight reel. Floyd has the ability to bring a crowd to their feet at any time within a game, as he attacks the rim with wreckless abandon and is not afraid to accept challenges - defending the opposing team's best player or taking the game right to another performer.
Floyd is a combo-guard that is at his best from the off-guard position on the floor, since he is a very good scorer of the basketball, but he is also very capable of running the point position as well - a nice asset and attribute. He is a good shooter with range on his shot, and as he becomes much more consistent from longer ranges, it will really open up his overall game on the floor, as he is very difficult to to defend when going down hill en route to the basket.
Myself and other top scouts around the country like to always uncover sleeper prospects, when possible, and this young man is definitely one of those prospects - one to definitely watch closely this off-season, as he looks to develop his college recruitment.
Currently, I am unaware of any college programs that have offered Floyd at this point, but it is early, and with a strong performance this off-season, that will definitely change for him. Floyd has the ability to play himself into much higher recruitment over the next (4) months, so it will be very interesting to see what develops for him as a college prospect.
Floyd will be competing this spring and summer with the Team Harden program. I will look to follow his play closely this spring and summer, and bring you any updates as they develop.

A fundamentally sound prospect overall that has a little extra in his bag, and is a very good sleeper prospect.
